Before you apply for a job, your primary intent is to secure the job. To do that, you typically do your preliminary research to see what the company is passionate about, the type of people that already work there, is the work culture corporate vs. casual Etc. You then measure this against your own credentials, your resume, and your own understanding of the type of work environment you enjoy and in which you can thrive.

The same energy needs to be applied when seeking a life partner.

When seeking a life partner, its important to know and truly understand who are you? This self-understanding starts with understanding how you relate (Love Language), how you interact in relationships (Attachment Style) and what truly drives you (Values).

It’s hard to ask someone else to sign on to a lifetime with you if you can’t truly articulate who you are.
